What Really Happened at Roswell? (And Why I Wrote a Sci-Fi Series About It)
When I first heard the stories about the Roswell crash in 1947, I was fascinated—not just by the idea of UFOs, but by the idea of what we didn’t do.
What if the aliens weren’t a threat?
What if they came in peace, and we—humans—were the real danger?
That question stayed with me for years. Eventually, it became the heart of my sci-fi series, Earth’s Secret Alliance.
👽 A Different Kind of Roswell Story
In my books, the aliens who crash-landed near Roswell aren’t invaders—they’re refugees. They come from a peaceful, vegetarian species called the Zalmen, whose world is under threat. They don’t want war. They want allies.
But Earth, in 1947, is just coming out of World War II. Trust is low. Prejudice is high. And diplomacy? It’s complicated.
Each novella in the series follows a different character—soldiers, scientists, journalists—each with their own strengths and flaws. Some humans want to protect the Zalmen, while others want to exploit them. A few just want the truth to be known.
🧑🚀 Why I Write Science Fiction with Heart
I’ve always loved science fiction, but I didn’t see enough stories that combined hope, diversity, and history. That’s why you’ll find:
- A young Black soldier trying to do the right thing
- A girl in a wheelchair who uncovers the biggest secret on Earth
- A female scientist in the 1940s who’s smarter than the men around her
- And aliens who refuse to fight, no matter the cost
These are the stories I wanted to read—so I wrote them.

🛸 Let’s Explore the Stars (Without a Fight)
Science fiction can be about laser battles and space pirates—and that’s fun! But I think it can also be about empathy, understanding, and the question:
What if peace was possible—but only if we were brave enough to try?
Thanks for reading. I hope you’ll join me on this journey—because the truth is out there…
