One reason I started writing was because much of what’s out there is full of doom, gloom, and anxiety. It seemed like writers would capitalize on gimmicks like worst-case-scenarios and cliffhangers, why? If they can’t keep the audience interested with the story, why bother?
So, I do my best to write the opposite; uplifting, relaxing stories. Sure, I put in teasers at the end of the book, hinting at what the next storyline is, but my readers are interested in the characters not the cliffhanger.
Now, I know I’m not going to sell as many books because of it, but that’s not my goal. My goal is that you can enjoy reading my stories when it is convenient, and finish them in a reasonable time.
Seriously, I hope you really enjoy them.
